I recently got some plants from an outside vendor and in about a week found 3 or 4 snails which I got rid of as I don't want snails in my tanks. However, I just found a small sac of eggs on the top of my onion plant that I have had for several months which contains about 30 eggs. It is clear and you can see the white eggs. I know my fish are egg bearers and that snails are too. I am wondering if these are snails eggs or fish eggs. Can someone help me?

Is it a clear jelly that the white eggs are in? If so it sounds like snail eggs to me.

:bowing: It sure is ~ since I don't want snails, I better get rid of it then, huh? If it were fish eggs, what would they look like?

If it were fish eggs the parents would most likely be hovering over and guarding them
allowing no other fish near.
Better pull them if you don't want more snails.
