I picked up a reef ready Oceanic 72 gallon bow front really cheap today. I already have a 55 gallon freshwater and a 58 gallon reef tank. I was thinking either aggressive saltwater fish only, brackish, or a chiclid tank. Help me decide. I am open too all suggestions.

Everyones opinion is apreciated.

...hehe I replied to this exact thread under marine, but since this thread is under freshwater...

I'd say go for a biotope, like a Lake Malawi biotope, or a Amazon river biotope, etc. Personally, I'd make an Amazon-like setup with cories, plecos, and some pirahnas as you 'showpiece' fish

I'd get an oscar and a cool catfish. I like fish with personality. oscars can be pretty fun, or so i hear.

Miniatus Grouper (aka coral trout).

Small, colorful and predatory.

If I had a 72 gallon tank (and the space in my house for it, lol) I'd do:
Heavily planted
10 Glo Light tetras
10 Zebra danios
10 pygmy cories
1 fancy show-quality male betta
1 fancy pleco (like a snowball or gold nuggett)

Have fun filling your new tank!
