That's the longest sentence I've seen in a while.

Is it all new stuff? New tank/gravel/decorations/etc.?

If you fill up a glass of water from your faucet does it look the same as what you are seeing in your tank?

Fill up your tank and leave it for about two weeks.

It may just be a bacterial bloom that will go away by itself.

I had that happen to me too. I added extra carbon to my filter and it cleared up in a few days. You shouldn't keep cleaning everything or you will never cycle your tank. :p

Wow yeah I haven't seen a sentence that long in a while either, watcher ;)

If it's particulate matter, you can get a water clearing agent and it makes the pieces of dust stick together and get filtered out. That is a last resort though. forst, try adding filter floss to your filter and waiting. Wait a week or so before you do anything else. you might want to get a head start on a fishless cycle. see the "Cycle" sticky at the top of the freshwater newbie forum.
