I just bought a 125 bio-wheel along with my aquaclear 200 on my 30 gal. how long will it take untill the wheel itself on the filter will adjust and not splash and get my light fixture all wet ?

It's not going to adjust itself.
Try raising the water level of your tank. When it gets high enough the splashing will stop.

i have a 125 for my 20g. Raise the water level until its touching the bottom of the water run off area. The filter will be silent and not splash.
My 125's splashed for about a week or so, and then slowed down and haven't caused any more cursing. I agree keep the water level high ( mine still splashed when new), but mine slowed down enough to quit flipping water up on to the glass in time.

I just bought 2 330's and they splashed for under a week........I made sure the water was as high as it could go and after a few days they stopped.
