can someone please tell me how to measure how many gallons my tank is??

Take lenghXwidthXdepth and then divide by 231

So it would look like this

((L X W X D)/231) This would give you US gallons if the measurements are done in inches.

If you dont want to do the math you can use the following calculator online

I see your from Australia so you might want liters instead of US gal.

If you want liters then multiply the US gal result by 3.8

Or try Goldfries handy new calculator (http://www.briancyc.com/aquaria/index.php?id=tools). Do conversions in metric or US, or even Imperial gallons.

take the LxWxD = capacity in cubic feet ;capacity in cubic feetx7.5=volumne in gallons volume in ukgallons x 10=weight of water in pounds hope this helps

well thanks everyone for your help ;)
my tank is only 32 Gal :(
but my fish arent very big yet, hopefully i will be able to afford a new tank soon.
