Hello everyone, its been a long time since Ive posted here, so long I forgot my login info :)

Anyhow, Im setting up my 125 in my new home and want to change some things. I want to be a little more creative with the rocks instead of your standard rock wall or island. I'd like to join some of the rocks together, but dont want to use twist ties. Any suggestions?

A while back I heard of drilling through rocks and using something I cant remember what to help hold rocks in place.

Can you help me out?

You can use 1/4" PVC pipe, or wooden/plastic dowels.

kewl. Im drilling holes about the size of a pencil, so large supports are out. Im thinking along the lings of dowels or something. If I can find plastic ones that would be cool, since Im sure the wooden ones wouldnt last long.

Does anyone have any pics of any cool aquascapes?

You can get plastic dowels at any hardware stores. Or, if you have a little bit of extra money, you can go to a glass store and buy glass ones. The glass is probably your best bet, but plastic would work just as good.

Don't forget plastic cable ties.
