All was fine this morning, nothing different with the fish.
i feed them with some flakes and dried bloodworm and i dropped in a waffer for the pl*co and corys.
i noticed that the angel was feeding very fast then once finish he started eating the waffer. about 2 hours later i walked past the tank and notice he looks like hes eaten a marble, hes stomach is very round and swollen?

scales aren't sticking out so don't think it's dropsey.

is it just the fact hes eaten so much? or is there something else wrong?

Algelfish are pigs. mine get like that every time they eat. it should go away overnight as he digests all that food. If it doesn't, then you have reason to worry about perhaps an intestinal blockage. I think the generally reccomended remedy for that is to feed your fish peas or other foods that have a lot of fiber, and that can sometimes clear it up.

I agree with ChicoRaton. My Angelfish will eat like goldfish, that is until there is nothing else edible in the water. Just keep your eye on the fish; as long as he is back to normal within 20 hours he'll be fine.

hehehe, I know I'm late on this but just had to comment. Chico was absolutely correct as you saw.... the belly is just full of food.... and peas at that. When I had mine, they were just as greedy and wound up just as full after feeding but never did I try giving them peas.... I just might do that when I get them back, hehehe
