Hi All-

Haven't been around in a long time, but I thought I would share a couple pictures from my recent vacation to Iceland. Just wanted to tout a few of this beautiful country's virtues.

1. me holding a baby puffin (also known as a puffling)
2. reaching into a geothermal pool
3. a picture of the lagoon where Keiko (of Free Willy fame) stayed while in Iceland

A lot of my pictures have no real significance, they are just of cool stuff and beautiful scenery. Iceland was truly breathtaking, much more so than I could have imagined. I would describe it as a cold Hawaii, very volcanic and lush (though decidedly much smaller plants, mostly mosses and heathers). I highly recommend it as an out-of-the-norm vacation destination.

lesley, this would make any photographer's favorite discussion... "cool" and "beautiful"--they have indecisively elicited your interest and have prompted you to actually take the shot. isn't that significant? :)

Hey darlin =) LTNS.. Lovely pics! Could you send me a high res version of the lagoon? You know the address ;)

Yes, thanks for sharing. Iceland looks great. My friend sens biking tours there every year and if I could afford it I would love to go.

Lesly, welcome back! It's nice to see you again. Those pics were great and thank you for sharing them with us.

That's so sweet of you!

;)
