yea but i wouldnt want to do discus or angels with a plastically planted tank.. i am thinking perhaps just stick with the lil africans and watch em grow
How about 2 pair of convicts?? Or some HRP if you can find them. Great to watch them have/take care of babies. You can then cull the fry, for your fish.
A malawii rift lake community would also be a good option, the fish are generally larger and very colorful eye catchers, plus overstocking isn't as bad a thing as with other types of fish due to the fact that it usually spreads out aggression and bullying.
They have parrot cichlids here in our 55. They get fairly big, so you can definitely see them from across the room. They have an aquarium service that comes in once a week.
