howdy I have an adult male and female guppy and about 10 baby guppies in a 5 gallon tank right now. it is highly planted forget what I ahv ein there. I know its probly over stocked right now, but they have been fine for the past month, I just need to find a place to put a 10 gallon or 20 gallon takn for them. but my problem is last night the adult female looked as tho moss or hair was growing on her forhead. its longer now. its white in color. is that some fungis type thing. and her one fin on the side is tore up. only have guppies in the tank so I dont know what coulda happend, ive had the 2 adults for about 3 or 4 months in that tank. I know its cylced and I just changed the water about 3 days ago. not sure on the stats of the water tho. gona get that checked when I go to the petco here. what do you guys think could help. my first thought was melafix or an anti fungis thing.

Add salt 2 tablespoons per 5gallons, remove the carbon from your filter if you have any, add melafix, and then add an antifungal medication. There is a chance she can pull through, but most of the time they don't, sorry to sound so harshe but thats the way it is.
