Okay, so I've tried feeding my betta special betta pellet things, but he wouldn't eat them. Then I tried regular tropical fish flakes, and sometimes he'll eat them and sometimes he'll just spit them out. So I'm guessing I have a picky betta. Should I try feeding him freeze-dried bloodworms? I know they like those but I can't find out if those should just be a treat, or regular food.

he might not be hungry... if you don't have anything causeing current or he is in a small tank he might not be active enough to need feeding everyday.

my betta is in my 20 gallon tank with the angelfish and he is all over the place and allways interested in food.

but yours probably would be fine with every other day feedings...

IME they like frozen bloodworms (thawed out of course) exponentially better than anything freeze-dried. However, this shouldn't be the only source of nutrition in his diet. You could also try other frozen foods. Some stores sell frozen-food variety packs-- maybe buy a variety pack and see which he likes best.
