Ok - this is off topic, but it's still kind of aquatic; I've had an outdoor pond now for five years, and I just spotted my very first froggy. Looks like he's found a new home. Here's a pic:

godd luck with him, hope he shows up in the spring! Well, actually I found him by the side of one of the cascading pools that flow into the pond. So he's pretty safe from the fish. Theres lots of nooks and cranny's for him to hide in. Good thing too, cause I have a koi that is about 18 inches long now.
It could be a leopard frog cause a couple years ago I threw in some leopard tadpoles, and then never saw them again. I figured the fish ate them, but maybe this guy has been hiding all that time. Who knows. Anyway he's pretty cool. Doesn't seem afraid of me cause I can get right up close and he just sits there looking at me.
