Finally back from the wedding and honeymoon. The wedding went off nearly perfectly and the pouring rain that came down all day stopped just two hours before the ceremony. We played it safe and took our photos before the ceremony just in case it started again! Here's one of the photos:

Well, after getting married on the 18th the new wife and I took a two week honeymoon. We spent the first week in Disney World and had an amazing time. Hurricane Jeanne kept us in lock down at Disney on Sunday so we had to postpone our drive to Key West by a day. However we still had 5 days in Key West.

The trip was wonderful and over all too quickly (much like the wedding). We got a chance to snorkel (it was my first time) in the coral reefs at the Dry Tortugas while in Key West. Amazing. Saw some reef squid who were just as curious in me as I was in them and tons of other fish and coral. We also took a glass bottom boat ride out to the reefs and I managed to get some decent video. All of that makes us want a saltwater tank even more now so the research begins :D

Sadly I'm losing the battle with algae in my puffer tank and lost one while we were gone leaving us with one. The tank is gross and in need of an overhaul :( Everyone else is fine though and held up well.

Congrats! Seems fall weddings are becoming more popular than previously--so many poeple tying the knot!

Congrats! I'm glad you had a wonderful wedding and honeymoon. Sorry about your puffer.

Nice to have you back!

Congrats and best wishes!!

Welcome back, glad things went well and you had a great time... :D

very nice congratulations, you make a very nice couple, so now for the age old question, when you planning on having children:D

a 75g or 125g tank should do nicely for the kids are you planning on having clowns or tangs:D

Gee, GEL, we haven't heard that yet ;)

Actually, the tank and the kids are waiting until we get a home of our own. That should be by next June or so if all goes right (don't want to sign another lease)

I figured its a good idea to start researching the SW tank ahead of time so I'll know what I'm doing when the time comes. We have a pretty good idea of what to do to get kids so no research necessary there, just practice :D

Good luck finding a nice house. I hope the market shapes up before long. I just heard on the radio this morning that in one of the counties nearby, real estate values have gone up an average of 56% this year. I think I'll be in the market for a nice cardboard box before long, maybe a roomy Frigidaire or Maytag. :sad
