1 shark cat down& still fightin the ich

I lost one of my cats this morn. He was dead on the bottom when I came in to the class room.
My first dead fish, ughh!
well I'm still fighting the ich in my tank but only the cat seems to be infected the Koi and plecos dont have the white spots
Been using Ich Clear and doing pretty large water changes @40%
If I lose the other cat I think I will try a heater and salt but im hoping that the med works.

the only thing I can say is that your tank is way over stocked and all of those fish need to go to bigger tanks ASAP. The koi won't do too well at 86 degrees.(which would be a god temp to treat the ich) The fish are cold water(koi) and tropical (all of the rest). These fish don't mix very well. The tropical fish NEED a heater(unless the room temp is warm enough to keep the tank at a steady temp) and the low temp is allowing the ich to stay around. Heat will speed up the life cycle. that 10 gallon will lead to the death off all of those fish. I would find new homes for all of the fish and then start over with some small fish that will be ok in that tank. but till then a lot of water changes, 50% every day.

Increasing the heat did WONDERS for me in getting rid of the ich.
