Aquaclear mini with aquaclear 150 or 250

Would it work to combine an AC mini and an AC 150 or 250? I got my first cichlid and the think makes a huge mess so i dont think my mni and my undergravel filter will be good enough. And just for the record i have a AC powerhead 201 for my undergravel filter. I might not keep both on at there highest level if there is too much current which i have a feeling there will be.

Refresh my memory - what size is the tank and what fish do you have in it?

o whoops sorryu i missed the most important part. Its 20 gallons and im going to keep mbuna.(cichlids)

I'd get the AquaClear 150 for that tank... 30 gallon rating.

Cichlids seem to produce more waste then most fish and both the filters need to be able to fit on the tank.
