can anyone tell me why my mollies have suddenly started to fight i recently bought 2 female guppies and a barbus also female i lost one of the guppies and now have noticed that my 4 young and 2 adult mollies have started to fight also my female barbus seems to be pretecting the young can anyone shed some light onto this

I've got a male molly with 3 females inside a 29g (lucky dude!), as of yesterday I noticed the male doing some sort of breeding dance with one of the females (flaring his fins, both circling eachother and nipping one another).
Usually he just chases them down and uh, "sticks it to em."
Today I had to put the male inside a QT, he was swimming vertically (head towards top of water) and the same female kept attacking him. . .
my best guess is it's just some Molly PMS going on :mad2
