I have a pleco veriety that is darker than the common type. He also has more wiskers b his face. He also seems a little flatter than the common type. He is not supposed to get longer than four inches and was a little more expensive than a common. Does any one know what kind he is or a place that has pictures maybe? I was just curious really as to what kind of pleco he is. I was told by my local pet store (aquatic adventures) that he would clean slower but do a more complete job.

Try Planetcatfish.com (I think that's their website - if it doesn't work just Google planet catfish) - they have pictures/descriptions of most every catfish you can imagine.
You could also post a picture here if you have one and some of the catfish folks might be able to ID him.

Check out Ancistrus - the genus of most of the bristlenose cats, but there are several other closely related genera.
