We went to Bonaire, Netehrlands Antilles, for our annual escape from reality last week. It's a great little island off the northern coast of Venezuela, in which the reefs are probably the healthiest in the Caribbean. The Acropora in the shallows is still pretty wiped out, but the massive corals and gorgonians look very good.
We shot almost 400 stills, and a good bit of video, and maybe I'll piece together a photo assay, but here are a few to start. Without an external strobe, the color is still rather variable, but there are some keepers. All shot with a Canon PowerShot G3 in an Ikelite housing.
