You know, it's simple to do research on fish origins and geographic range, I'm having a harder time with plants.

Anybody know a good source? I'm looking to set up a habitat tank representing the Rio Negro.

Thanks in advance.

I thought that sounded familiar, then I did a search on Yahoo for it and found Panama LOL. I love that country. Went there twice on high school feild trips through ANCON. Not sure what type of fish live there I could only find salt water fishing sites. Sorry.

There really are not many rooted submersed plants there.
Water levels vary 30-50ft.
No light most of the year, unless you are a tree/float.
