View Full Version : glowing president? yes or no

It seems like the candidates from the major parties are neck and neck, and I wondered if it would make a difference if one carried a gene making him glow green.

So, would it make you more or less likely to vote for a fluorescent candidate?

I think you left an option out of your poll:

x Please send me some of what you've been smoking.

Sometimes all it takes is exhaustion, election burnout, and an afternoon staring at green glowing maggots through the microscope.

You'll have to explain this one to me. I don't need posts, I don't get any points for posting in GCC, so I'm not sure what this means. I was just entertaining myself.

Well for the record, I voted no, it could have unexpected consequences. It seems that a lot of politicians have some floozies on the side and I dont think we want that getting into the gene pool. Of course...it certainly could show an interesting trail of....pleasure. Hmmm...

I hope I'm not "post whoring" by chit chatting in GCC though...you know....the place where posts don't count anyway...:p

Actually there's some merit to this post/subject!

We did have glowing orange candidate at one point, and it seemed to have a negative effect!! :D

this is a good one, and it should be remembered. I voted that it might have unexpected consequences too. Maybe its just that Im jealous. Whenever I put my fifty cents in, I get the "her pleasure", never the glowing one. That sucks.

A glowing president? I just couldnt relate! :pc:

I voted no also....I think that a green glow would connotate some kind of radioactive exposure and you just can't trust them not to spontaneously grow a second head or something....while you might pick up the X-Files and Trekkie votes, I think you'd lose the conservative right.
(ps..he doesn't just have to be smoking it...)

I don't understand why there aren't more 'yes' votes!
Don't you guys want to have the 'brightest' president possible?

Actually, poll results show more yes votes than no at this time. And I can agree a glowing president would have some benifits, like... uhhh can I get back to you guys on this?......

LOL on the little glowing Lewinsky's !!

Well, a glowing President would certainly be something to wonder at.....The only problem I could forsee is that it would be easy for enemies to keep him in their sites via satallite.......can't be having anyone picking off our President no matter if you like him or not...that just doesn't look good for the rest of us....

Dangerdoll
08-23-2005, 8:45 AM

Doll, you really woudn't want to have had anything to do with Errol Flynn....that man was a Cad of all Cads !! My advice....Stay away from fellas like him !! ;)

Back to topic...

Definitly...we should have a glowing Pres....other world leaders would be so busy staring and gaping at him that they wouldn't be able to think about what they were doing when they meet with him....that would be a definite advantage in the foreign policy arena IMHO !

I voted for glowing green. With bad eyesight it helps to find things more easily if they are neon colored. I have a tape measure that's neon yellow. Cool stuff! :look:

Errol might have looked good in a tuxedo, but did you see those green tights in Adventures of Robin Hood? .....disturbing....

On the other hand, Maid Marion was a hotty! (Olivia de Havilland)

I don't care if the candidate has three heads, glows green, collects pocket lint or only eat organicly grown bread mold, as long as their policies are sound, moral, and I think they have the resolve to actually push them through, I'll vote for them.

My Nana on the other hand is an old Southern Democrat. She votes a straight ticket. Her answer to the poll would be, "I'd vote for the Donkey that symbolizes the Democratic party, if they ran it".

I'm not surprised given how far it's strayed from the original post. You need to meld it all together, maybe you could add a new choice to your poll: would you vote for a president who uses Don Ameche on his posters.

Course a true glowing president would probably use John Ritter (Skin Deep) on his poster.
