Which light bulbs are everyone using in their freshwater aquariums? Does anyone use the Coralife Trichromatic? Is this a good bulb to use?

I use the regular daylight bulbs you buy at home depot. Cost 4$ compared to any of the LFS bulbs which cost 25-40$each around here.

I've got a planted 38-gal tank, and I use two 20-watt striplights. One's a "plant grow fluorescent" I got at Lowe's for about $6 (real high in the blues and reds, dim to the human eye) and the other is a "Sunlight" bulb (by GE, I think) that puts out 5000K. I got it at Walmart for $6, but some hardware stores had it for $9.
I like them really well.

I use the GE / Phillips strip lights from Home Depot. I paid $4-$9 for them. You can't even tell the difference between them or the one's at the LFS.

Which light to use depends on what you have in the aquarium and what you are trying to highlight!...
