What is your techinique for feeding frozen food cubes to your fish? Formula one, two, etc.

I dump a cube in frozen and let them fight for it. they seem to enjoy pickin at it...and as it melts...bloodworms shoot down to the bottom (from the flow of the filter) and the loaches get some too. If i let it all melt and dump it in...the barbs will get everything =T

stupid barbs. nippy and eatty.

Allan!

Formula 1 and 2 are for marine fish. Are you feeding that to you fresh water??

To answer question-- I just 2 cubes into tank. Fish eat as it thaws.

I put them in one of those clips for holding lettuce and stuff, then hang it in the tank. That way it stays in front and you can watch them eat it.

Hmm. I have been thawing it in a spoon and then putting it in and shaking it all around.

Thaw all frozen foods! The juices are nasty and only pollute your water causing higher nitrates. Thaw, blot, then add any vitamin supplement and let it soak in well.

I'm new at this so what kind of vitamin supplement do you use?

oops, i may be doing mine the wrong way too then. i usually thaw mine on a saucer and then administer via a clean spoon into the tank. EVERY fish loves the frozen brine shrimp i give them. it's quite fun to see them all eating and swimming frantically to get more than their neighbor. :soda:
