Need help for plant ID

Hey plant experts I just got this new plant, it about 7" tall, dark green leaves that are wrinkled, and the underside of the leaves are violet. Sorry don't have a pic. Any ideas?

I dont know the name of the plant but if its the one im thinking about, its not a true aquatic plant and will eventually die in the aquarium.

Your discription is leads me to believe that it is the plant im thinking about...wrinkled leaves, dark green on the top side, and dark violet on the bottom side.

Do a search for Hemigraphis colorata.. It's a terrestrial plant that is sometimes mistakenly sold for aquariums.

your both right, I got the Hemigraphis colorata. What should I do take it out and plant it,or keep it in and let it die. Does it do well in soil and air?
