I am currently using Plantex CSM/Boron..
Was alternating with Seachem Iron but I started to get
some algae issues and stopped the Seachem ...
Some say there isn't enough Iron in the Plantex/Boron,
Others say the Opposite. THere are Dif. forms of Iron though are they're not? ( Chelated etc.??)

20 gal High Lit Planted Tank with NPK ( Target levels )..

I was dosing the Plantex @ 2 mls. every other day
( 2 tbls. in a 591 ltr. bottle)

The Seachem 1 ml. on alternating days..
Rex had mentioned about probley too much Iron so I
stopped the Seachem and am dosing only 1 ml. of the
Plantex a couple of times a wk.. ( probley not enough)..
One thing: I just recently added several Seachem Root
Tabs to the Substrate.
I still do have a little bit of algae forming on the glass.
And the water is not real clear as of yet indicating that something is still out of wack.. ( either the Root tabs are
effecting the water colume??) or I backed off TOO MUCH
on the Micros..
PH- 6.4-6.9 on the average ( DIY CO2 ) 20 gal. Tank.
KH and GH 4-5
Nitrates- 5-7
Phosphates- 1.0 min....
Water Changes - 50% once per wk. always...

Plantex will give you enough Fe for most purposes. If any of your plants come up with an Fe deficiency you could always dose extra then.
A suggestion: Figure out how many mls. of Plantex you dosing on a weekly basis and divide it by 6. Dose that amount daily, skipping the day of water change. You should notice an improvement in growth and color and you will have the Fe in the Plantex available all week.
Be careful not to disturb those root tabs until spent.
How long has the tank been set up?
