Just wondering if you buy 2 angelfish that are together in the store if thell be alright in a tank toggether and not be aggressive towards eachother

uhh, a bit more information is needed before anyone can answer that

first off, how big is your tank?

its a 20 gal tank

In all honesty, a 20 g is not nearly enough tank for a fish that will grow to 6" long and 8" high. There is a good chance you will face agression issues as they grow, There is little chance that two angels will live together in a tank that small

YEP--Sorry. One maybe OK for a while, but will out grow it soon.

angels are agressive toward each others naturaly especially wen breeding get biges tank you can buy and good luck

What Ive heard is get 1 or 3 or more. I did keep 2 angels together, and sadly one angel is dead because of it. :sad

If you get a 29gal. tank, I'd say get one of them, It will save you the saddness of losing a fish you have come to love.

No, the angles wolnt be agressive.

they might quarrel, but they wolnt kill each other.
I dissagree 2 angles in a 20 won't work (is it 20 Tall?) If so 1 might work. Angles ARE cichlids so they will fight and mostly likely the dominant fish will kill the other. Its suggest to keep angles in 3 or more to spreed the aggression for this reason.

My family has kept angles for 25 years, in tanks as small as 20 longs (breeding) and they have NEVER killed each other.
