I have a 55-gallon tank with 110 watts of light. I noticed this morning that I ran out of CO2 so I disconnected the tank and stopped by Oxygen service during lunch get a new one. Well, when I came back from work, it looks like my leaves on my val and other thin leaf plants have become translucent. The water also became cloudy. Well, I quickly put the new tank of CO2 on and am currently changing about 30% of the water. Will I loose some of my plants? Has this happened to anyone else? Any more suggestions for the future? FYI- the fish look OK so far. I have about 12 cardinals and 12 rummy nose tetras. Anything I should worry about for the fish? Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

when your tank runs low it loses the ability to hold gas and it purges the remainder into the tank, so you probably had a TON of co2 rush into the tank.
Normally its written all over manuals and instructions that you need to watch out for this.
