Hey all, I added 2 small firemouths to the 75 today, and they seem to be very pale and are taking to hiding under the filter intakes and in the corners. Is this a normal reaction? The only other fish in the tank in a very small jack dempsey.

yes, your fish are scared, and need to get used to their sourroundings
 
Ya it really differs from fish to fish. I just added a convict yesterday and right away he was part of the group. But my Jack Dempsy i added last week is still a loner all by himself and is skidish. He also doesnt even eat when im in the room. I hope he comes out of his shell soon.

after we added new fish to our tank, my clown loach was afaraid to some out for over a week. (which has been in the tank for 15 years) so it was kinda of a reverse effect here.
