Treatment for Popeye

I have a 3”silver dollar that has Popeye! My LFS told me to use Maracyn, I set-up a 10 gal. hospital tank & placed the silver dollar in there. After reading the instructions it sounds like Maracyn-Two is better for Popeye? Which one is better? Or should I be using both?

I already have him in the Hospital tank with the Maracyn I got from my LFS! I was just wondering which one was better? The instructions say you can run it ran concurrently with Maracyn 2! So I was wondering if I should just run both?

Well he's already looking better, So I will continual with the Maracyn. If after 5 days there’s no more improvement I’ll try the Maracyn 2.

While treating should I also be concerned with small water changes being that the hospital tank will probably be going through a cycle? I did use a small piece of an old filter to help seed the new filter in the hospital tank!
