I picked up a few Carolina blue rams at a local auction a couple of weeks ago and plopped them in my 10G planted tank. Just by the way they act, I know the rams have spawned, somewhat unexpectedly. Dig the photos....
Here's the tank:

Anyone know how soon the little buggers should hatch? Feeding recommendations when they do?

I just wanted to say that it is a very nice looking aquarium. I may put my rams in a smaller aquarium and see if the spawn. I think I may have a possible pair.

Congrats! I've been trying for a while to get some Rams to breed... no luck yet!

I've got two tanks that have what I think are pairs... can you post your tank specs and whether you did anything special to get them to spawn? Any other fish in the tank?

Thanks,
Bill C.

Well, all the eggs are gone now - either they were unfertilized and the parents ate them or some such, or the cories in the tank ate them. It was the first spawn for these rams, so I'll just have to wait til next time.

The tank is the 10G listed in my tank profiles... pH stays around 6.8-7.0, temp 79-80. Not sure about hardness as I haven't measured it in a while. I'll get good measurements on its tomorrow and post them for ya.
