My bubble curtain is sending up bubbles into my HOB filters' intake tube. is this anything to worry about as far as wear and tear on the filter or media?

No, I don't think so. Some planted tank folks run CO2 lines into HOB filters or powerheads to help with dissolution. You'll be fine, just think of it as even better aeration.
Yeah, you don't have anything to worry about. Just a little oxygen getting into your filter media, which is a good thing.
