I should have put this question in the other post, but ehh! I have a 72g and I have 1 jager 200w heater, do I need another or is one just fine you guys think?

I'd say two. The one alone doesn't quite have the watts. 2 x 150watt would be what I would use, but then I live in a hot part of the world... Hard to compare...

It's way better to have two operating less, instead of having one take the whole load. Additionally, if one fails, the other might keep your tank going until you notice it.

awesome, thanks guys, looks like I am giving big al some buisness

I WOuld ?

I would check the wether charts for your area for the minum tempritures and look into what temp your house is at and its lowest....

dont spend money if you dont have to

Exactly why I keep at least two.

is it easy to sync the both of them, or how do you guys do it? I have a 200 watt jager heater, incase I didn't specify up top

I have 2*200 for my 75. I set the temps the same and at times I see either one on but nut usually both. Unless I re-fill with water thats a tad cold. Two is the best plan.

also, with two weaker rather than one strong, if the thermostat sticks you'll be less likely to fry your fish ;)
