Betta temp/food/cohabitants??

Ok, I've searched for this and keep reading different things.

I've got a 10 gallon tank setup and want to get a Betta for it.

It's got a HOB filter and heater, gravel, decorations,etc.

Are bettas tropical or cooler? What temp should I have?

I want to give the betta a variety of food. What kinds of food are good for bettas?

I want to eventually put a few of the smaller variety corys in the same tank. This ok? How many? About 3?

i've had fantastic luck keeping a betta in a big tank at around 78 degrees. He is super active and looks great

Bettas are tropical, so they like warm temps. I keep my tanks around 78 also.

I feed my betta micro pellets (he can't eat the big ones) and frozen blood worms.

Cories are great with a betta. I'd get at least 3 cories. Smaller ones like panda cories you could get by with 4 or 5 if you wanted to. My bettas have always been with cories and I've never had any problems with aggression between them.
