When I had a leaky tank, I disassembled the entire thing and remade it. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry when it came to 30 gallons of water on the floor of my 2nd floor apartment. You will need LOTS of razor blades, masking tape, and lots of aquarium silicone (I used 2 tubes for a 29 gallon). I recommend looking around online for this or searching the forum for a cheaper alternative to the all glass brand silicone. Make sure that each piece of glass is perfectly clean before you start. It is also helpful to put a piece of tape on the outside of each pane and label it so that you reassemble them in the correct place. don't be afraid to use a lot of silicone, and keep a wet finger while you are smoothing out the inside corners. Take your time, and you will have a rebuilt aquarium that you can trust. I let mine cure for a week before I tested it with water. Perhaps someone with more experience in building tanks can elaborate... Good luck

For a 10g tank you don't have to rebuild it. Just cut the silicone out of the inside of the tank and resilicone it. I will still be able to take the presure of the water and it wont leak.

I have done three tanks so far. Just cut the old silicone from the inside and reapply new silicone. It get easier with each one you do. A ten is a great place to start.
