Will these rocks be harmfull to my water home?

hello,
recently i went outside and got about ten rocks and i am not sure if they are ok for my tank. they look a lot like the rocks that every1 uses for caves in the cichlid site gallery. they are mostly long flat pieces like slate. i am just wondering if there is anything harmful in thek or could be? any help is appreciated
 
check my last post up in the pictures. If they are like them then they should be ok. If you want to be safe take some vinager and drop a few drops on the rocks and if foams its not safe( well it could be safe it would just raise he ph)If its slate then they area great and will be fine in your tank.
