:sad
Just got him and the 3 of the 4 guppies in this tank a couple of days ago. Did he do this?? I also have an otocinclus in the tank. Do they ever get aggressive?
I did have some guppies fins chewed a few weeks ago but thought it was the bloodfin tetras, and I did see one bully a guppy. They are gone now, though.
The poor guppies tales are just decimated! and they are so traumatized they just hang near the top. That is all that is in the tank. Could one of the guppies have done this to the other 3? One was not touched.
I'm trying to attach pics but don't know if it is working.

Probably not the right way but I think this will work. Here are the links to the pics anyway.

Yes, but so weird that there is nothing in the tank but the otocinclus, catfish and four guppies. Anyone think the guppies could have done it?

my guppies haqve been at it too

quite a bit of damage

at first i thought it was my betta but he is totally oblivious to them

and then i saw one rip the tail of the other

i posted a thread called guppies behaving badly to see if it was normal

apparently they like to think they are the prettiest male as then if or when a female comes along they will pick the best looking

me i am much more interested in personalities

I would try adding either some salt (1 tsp per gallon) or a medication (like melafix) that contains tea tree oil. I find this often helps repair damaged fins quicker and keeps bacterial infection from getting into open wounds.
