FOX is turning a grown adopted child's search for her father into a reality/game show called "Who's Your Daddy."

On the Jan. 3, 90-minute special, the woman will face eight men — one is her father, and the fakes' goal is to trick her into thinking they are.

If, after three elimination rounds, she picks out her real father, she wins $100,000. If she picks the wrong one, the fake daddy gets the big-bucks prize.

Wow. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. That is evil.

I have a general and severe distaste for "reality" shows as they have almost nothing to do with reality. I must admit to being quite interested in Biggest Loser though. The idea that these folks are driven to lose weight almost as much as they are to make money makes the show pretty interesting.

I'm a big FOX news fan but their other channel seems to be going downhill fast. At some point, they better realize that some things are more important than ratings. I'll watch my fish over that CRAP, thank you ;)

yep gimme a big screen fishtank anyday....

scripted drama bores the dickens outta me..ER/West Wing/CSI make me wanna seppuku/hara-kiri

there aren't any good sitcoms anymore ala Frasier, Friends, Seinfeld

I read the news (yahoo, cnn, fox) online about 10-15x per day
sports are lame to watch IMHO

so I'm left with reality tv, and so far I've enjoyed them all.
Its not so much the situations as the reactions of (quasi) real people that I enjoy.

I saw that Who's your daddy one. That one I really think goes a little too far with something that is really quite serious.

My mom just met her biological mother for the first time since she was born (she was adopted immediately)this summer....and I couldn't imagine handling it so...cheesily.
