Out of sight!

I just recently got a pair of convicts, and they are settled it, but i never see them explore the area..I never see the female, i see the male just sitting up near a rock.

Normal? I know they like their home, but she never ever is seen...out of sight!

Btw i can only see from the top cause its an enclosure, but still visibility of places is good...

maybe they are already preping eggs?

They could be preparing to spawn, or already have. That or the male is intollerant of the female and keeps her in hiding.
