i use well water and under the hood, filter and top edges wherever water seems to evaporate to, there is a very hard white calcium like deposites, after a while it completely covers the plexiglass underside of the hood and have to use a razorblade to take it off

i just wanted to know what is it and are there any conditioners or something i can use to be rid of it, what if i filtered the water through watersoftener when i first put it in the tank or is it too salty?

A lot of people with hard water mix their tap water with RO water to reach the desired hardness level.
If the fish are happy in your water and the only concern is removing the hard water stains, you could try using vinegar - if you remove the deposits regularly (once a week at water change is when I clean my cover glass) you may be able to keep on top of it so it doesn't build to the point where you need to use a razor blade.
