Will anything come from this?

I have four female rasboras and one male swordtail in the same tank. They are flirting like mad with eachother. I hate to sound naive, but.. can anything possibly come from this? Egglayers and livebearers... just seems too much like apples and oranges to me.

Nope. I can sympathize though. For awhile I was sure I'd get some Picyos....since my pictus and yoyo loach were inseparable!

ah well. It's fun to watch anyway. The four females are all dancing together while the sword does a drive by. Sometimes he does a bit of dancing too. Then he goes off looking for some food, comes back and they start all over again. Sometimes the girls run circles around him.
