What to feed Convicts

Should I feed convicts falke or pellet food? Also I would like to know what brand that you all would recommend.
 
flakes are good for babies. pellets are good for adults since it is more cheaper than flakes.

NLS, Hikari, Tetra, JBL are some good brands I feed my cichlids.
 
I already have seperate fry food(Hikari First Bites) since I have bred other fish like mollies before. So your saying I should get pellet then?
