Sorry for posting this because it is pretty much pointless. But I am getting my convicts later on today! I can't wait and I am way too excited! Any other advice from anyone will help. Thanks alot!

:D Finally I got them, I am not sure if they are a pair or not, but the female is bigger than the male is that ok? Will they still spawn? :confused:

Well, i mean if the male is a juvenile and female is adult, i am pretty sure it can be bigger. You know how some of these store are, they give you the fish they can catch and tell you they will be perfectly fine even though one is substantially smaller than the other. Had the same problem with my 2 firemouths, the big one never left the small one alone, but then again it depends on how much of a size difference we are talking about, and the individual fish.

Yeah I went back and got 2 more so in all I have 4, I hopoe thats ok. 2 are males and the other 2 are females. 1 of the males and 1 of the females seem to be juveniles and are similar in size. The other 2 are a little bigger than them. Maybe I can get a pair at least out of the 2 juveniles. I saw a male at the store guarding this one spot but I didnt see a female with him, so I just got that male.

Don't worry, if your Convicts are breathing...they will breed.
