Good use for brussel sprouts?

:D

The Parrots were a bit unsure but the clowns and severum went mad for them.

The pl*cos REALLY liked them and the rainbow cichlids waited in line to get a bite too.

Nice looking fish! I've never bought brussel sprouts, so never offered them to my fish, but I might now!

Be forewarned, while the fish love them, they stink to high heaven, and make the tank water have a faint reek for days without carbon or a large volume water change. With that said, they work great for raising small ancistrus fry. I just buy the frozen ones, thaw them completely, cut them in half and drop them in. They sink immediately!

OMG I never thought of that either..... I don't know how easy it will be for me to part with the sprouts though, I love them and can get quite territorial myself with them..... but it's worth a try..... if they like them half as much as I do, it ought to be fun to watch!

Cool well if my cellibate ancistrus ever ever produce any fry I'll give it a go.

Pretty much all that was left got eaten by the rainbow cichlids(better that than my plants)but I did do a big waterchange to get rid of all the sprouty poop.

my fish love brussel sprout too but now i only give it to them every once in a blue moon.the water would really start smelling and it seems that the pleco pooped more out than he actually ate.
