Hey, so this is probably just a stupid question, but I am trying to be very careful starting out my new 10 gallon tank. I set everything up for it last night(heater, filter, put in my gravel, decorations, and plants, not to mention my aqua safe--just dont have fish yet). My question is, since setting everything up there are tiny little air bubbles covering the walls of my tank and my fake plants...is that normal? i have had another smaller tank, and i dont remember anythign like that happening...if anyone has any ideas, let me know I would really appreciate it...thanks!

Most likely the result of using tapwater, straight from the tap. The bubbles outgas to come to equilibrium with surface air. Not a problem, will go away or can be wiped away. I would consider aging the water you plan on using for water changes--there's some anecdotal information that water like this can cause a problem for fish, when you get the tank cycled and have fish in there.

I set up my 33 gallon about 2 weeks ago and had the very same problem. The other thing I noticed was murky water. Both went away within a few days :)
