Hi,

I only recently have had live plants (amazon swords) so don't know too much it. I had them in a 10 gallon, which recently crashed after 3 years no problems. I had a "plant light" only b/c that would start to die otherwise.
Since the 10 crashed, I decided to replace it with a 20. Here's my question. what do I need/ should have to them be sucessful in a 20 gallon? I do not have C20 or reverse osmois or anything.

Have at least moderate lighting (at least 2 wpg) as well as some rich substrate or as a substitute, you could use root tabs for a bit, as Swords are heavy root feeders.

Of course, if you can provide enought light, CO2 can be beneficial as well
