I am going to go out and get some live food today, I am thinking of getting both brine shrimp and blood worms, I love watching fish eat live blood worms. Is there any other live food I should consider for my fish, and how would I feed the brine shrimp to the fish, also how to I store them, I know with the blood worms I use to just store them in the frige, do the brine shrimp need that or do they need to be stored at room tempature. What other live fish would tetras like? I been using flakes up to now, and want to switch them over to better food, live, and maybe frozen, what other food choices are there. Should I keep the flakes in the diet or can I remove them and give the fish better food, yes I know it will cost more but I am willing to take on the added expence for my babys.

Feed the live food like you would feed them any other food. Store the Brine shrimp at room temperature. I'm not sure what other food your tetra would like. Experiment; if you feed your fish something and he goes crazy for it the next time he sees it, then he likes it.
Other main kinds of food are freeze-dried food and pellets. I would keep flakes in the diet. They seem to have more vitamins in them, but that may just be my thought.
Hope i helped!

Beware live food especially worms. They often carry with them lots of parasites which can affect your fishes. Remember to quarantine and wash them first before putting into the tank.
