I Was Thinking Ahead A Little And How Do You Think This Would Work Out? I Plan On Getting A 120 Or A 180 In About 4-6 Months And Want To Start Growing Some Fish Out For It. I Was Thinking Of A Green Terror, A Red Terror, My Belly Hopper Pike, And A Large Pleco. How Would That Work Out With Lots Of Good Hiding Spots? I Think The Gt And Rt Are Beautiful Fish And Would Love To Have Both.

A Red Terror is far more aggressive then a GT. With a male RT chance are even in a 6 foot long 180 gallon tank you will end up with a single fish. A 4 foot 120 gallon tank will really only be big enough for a RT. Try to get a 180 and a female RT and stock her with your other fish on the list and see how it turns out. Just be aware that you might have to move some fish when problems come up in the future.
Would One Or The Other Maybe Be Better Matched With A Dempsey? Or Maybe The Rt With A Red Devil?

I would say a Dempsey and a GT are close in aggressivness and the RT and RD are close as well. Now puting a RT and a RD togerther in the same tank is just asking for trouble though sooner rather then later. I would try fish with a totally different body shape. Like a pike and RD or RT combo. Or maybe a Jag or Freddie with and RD in a 180. Again always keep an eye on things. If it would be my tank I would try a 180 gallon tank with a female RT a pike and a Escondido. That would give you great color and interesting fish to look at.
I Like The Gt The Best So I Definately Want One Of Those...a Guess A Better Question Than The Above Would Be, What Is A Good Match For A Gt?

Since a GT is from South america try searching the profile section and see what cichlids you like from there and post a list and me and other people can suggest then combos for a 120 or 180 gallon tank.

The pike"belly-hopper", is that maybe also called belly crawler, if so the cichlids-rd/gt will out grow it enough to likely eat it, if it survives that long. It also likes a lower ph, but neutral would likely be fine, just dont bump it up for the rd.
ok here it is...i'm thinking a Green Terror with one of the following three. Jack Dempsey, Texas cichlid, or midas cichlid. what would be the best match for my soon coming GT??

If you choose the 180 get a Jck and a Texas. If you get a 120 get a Jack. If you do choose the Texas get his close cousin the Escondido which grows a little smaller but looks a lot better.
