I notice that Flourish suggests to keep the regular Flourish in the fridge. Which in fact I do as stated. I also have Iron? Should the iron be kept in there as well? I am just curious? Why would you refrigerate the fertilizer but not any of thier other products?

Would it hurt to keep the iron in there as well?

Also, anyone try thier potasium line and thier NO3 as well? Is it any good? I am currently mixing my own PMdd right now and dosing about 15drops a day in my 55 gallon... So far so good. Plants pearl all day except for the BBA that I posted earlier on my tank walls and gravel. Other than that, my plants are algae free...

Since uping the PMDD from 10 drops to 15 I've seen a big differnce in my bacopa.. Its doubled in length. This plant was such a slow grower for me in the past. Should I push to 20 drops in a few weeks, or stay where I am??

How many drops does anyone else add?

Sorry I posted two questions in the same thread... LOL

Thanks..

I use Flourish and Florish Excel, and keep them both in the fridge. I don't think it would be a problem to keep the Iron in the fridge, as the cold temperature should just help to slow down any chemical reaction going on in the mix. Also, it would slow down the growth of anything that could contaminate the solution.

The only problem that I can think of is that compounds are less soluble in colder liquids, so I guess you could possibly get sedimentation. I would think you're safe as long as it doesn't say "do not store below..."
