Just wondering how many people here like snow. With so much snow in the U.S. this winter, so many people don't have much of a choice!

:D

I love snow!!! It kinda sucks to shovel, but its so fun other than that! I love to drive in snow, I love to snowboard, I love to go snowmobiling. There are soo many fun things you can do in snow!

It is fun when its the light powder, so its easy to shovel, and can be pretty. When theres enough of it its great to tube in!

Snow

I like it almost every way-light dusting, heavy snows. Don't like this darn ice we just got done with-what a mess! Schools closed for 2 & 3 days-power is still out in a lot of places-half the state is a disaster area. We stopped by our LFS today-one of the ladies there had to bring all her fish in to the store cause her power was out.
Sound kind of familiar, hurricane survivors?
So,

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! :dance

I had to say what is it... I live in West Texas in what scientists have deemed a "succulent desert". We did get a little snow this year, but none really stuck. We got no snow last year. I think the most I have ever seen here is a few inches that actually accumulated and stuck. The town shut down.

That's not to say I haven't had some thrilling issues with snow however. i used to work for Ethicon, a division of Johnson and Johnson and our corporate offices were in Sommerville, New Jersey. And, my manager thought a meeting in mid January after the Christmas holidays was a fine idea. Needless to say, New Jersey and New York had a hellacious Ice Storm the evening my plane landed. It took us about 2 and a half hours to drive the short trip to our meeting. All the way we laughed at idiots in SUVs who had passed us a mile or so back only to end up smashed into a barrier or on the shoulder after a wreck. Ahh, good times.

ice, snow anything that closes work or school.

love it, i cant live in it though. just came back from a snowboarding trip. i like driving in snow and ice. was nicknamed donut over the weeklong trip.

I seriously dislike snow. But then again I work with Horses and that requires being outside all the time and it gets really fricken cold. I have 2 more years here in CO, then I am moving to California somewhere to stay warm! I am one that doesn't like the temp below 60 too often. Colorado is definitely not the state for me since for the past 2 weeks 1/2 of those days have topped out at 15 degrees!

theres no snow here in hawaii (except on some mountains, but thats on different islands) i wouldnt mind seeing some tho
