Hello, I bought an eclipse hood online and need to replace it due to lighting. There will be a couple of days between the 1st filter being picked up and the new one being dropped off. My bio-wheel is already loaded with bacteria, is there anyway to keep it fresh? (As a side note I have a fluval filter as my back-up)

You could keep the old filter floating in the tank. With some water circulation it will be fine. You might be able to pack it in the fluval. You need to keep it wet, and have the tank water flowing over it to keep the bacteria alive.
