no, a wide variety of Malawi cichlids have them, including various peacock species.

Sorry, I meant that do only MALE OB peacocks have eggpots vrs the female OB's not having egg spots?

Both sexes share the OB pattern, which includes OB blotches on the anal fin, so females MAY also have them.

My OB fulleborni female has slight eggspots, very faint. Definately not as bright and defined as the male's eggspots.
